Abram Kortright 1840 - 1910 2. Adam Kortright - buried in grave A1-W 3. Benjamin Kortright - 12/23/1872 - 3/12/1887 4. Bryon Kortright 1855 - (no DOD) 5. Bryon Kortright - c. 1901 - 11/2/1933 - in the Ellenville RDC record # 371 this Bryon was listed as age 32, and worked as a guard at the institue (jail) - buried in grave D3-L2 6. Catherine DePuy Kortright 12/6/1798 - 3/25/1870 - wife of Moses Kortright 7. George Kortright - no dates - buried in grave C4-N 8. George Kortright - no dates - buried in grave C6-H 9. George B. Kortright - d. 1971 - grave D3-K (this is one of the latest burials in the cemetery) 10. Lawrence Kortright - 1806 - 4/14/1860 11. Mary Catherine Kortright - d. 1839 - buried in grave C6-D 12. Moses Kortright 2/25/1801 - 10/27/1844 - he is # 397 in the "Courtright (Kortright) Family Descendants of Bastian Van Kortryk" - some confusion over actual DOB from various records - Moses is buried in grave A4-I 13. Myra Bruyn Kortright - 1855 - 1902 - buried in grave D3-L1 14. Rachel Kortright - d. 1973 - also one of the latest burials - Rachel is buried in grave D3-K 15. Catherina Kortright VerNooy - 11/8/1789 - 3/6/1848 - she is # 202 in the "Courtright" book" - daughter of Captain Benjamin Kortright and Arriantje Oosterhoudt. There are some conflicts of information on her birth / bapt. dates. According to the "Courtright" book she was bapt. 10/16/1783 -Three Hundred Year of the VerNooy Family in America" gives DOB as 11/8/1780 - her headstone is very deteriorated but the birthdate on the headstone looks like the year is 1789. Catherina married Jacob VerNooy who is # 2F4g1 in the VerNooy book. (Jacob VerNooy & Catherine Kortright are my 4th great-grandparents) 16. Cornelius Benjamin Kortright VerNooy - 8/13/1820 - 1/8/1882 - he a son of Jacob & Catherina and is my 3rd geat-grandfather - he is VerNooy # 2F4g1f 17. Maria Kortright VerNooy - 5-4-1811 - 5-5-1902 - she was married to Cornelius Abraham VerNooy There are probably other Kortrights by birth & marriage who are also buried there, most of the headstones are in very bad shape - you can hardly read them - many stones are sunk into the ground, missing, etc. I have been cross referencing the cemetery records with church records, obits which state place of burial, and information I learn from local history books. I have 3 Kortright obits for people not buried in the Wawarsing Cemetery if you are interested: 1. Mary Margaret Hill Kortright - b. 3/26/1838 - d. 3/13/1924 she was daughter of DuBois Hill & Catherine Furman, she was the 2nd wife of Jesse M. Kortright 2. Jesse M. Kortright - b. 12/3/1829 - d. 4/28/1884 - the obit does not give names of his parents, but it says he married 1st Mary A. Smith 1/24/1850 she died in 1861 - then Jesse married 2nd wife Mary M. Hill 5/14/1863. 3. Maria Jane North Kortright - d. age 78 on Aug 2, 1903 she was the widow of Cornelius Kortright. Cornelius d. 1867 Hope the information helps you in some way.
