    2. I was given this newspaper articule In the Dutchess County Surrogate 3948, file Samuel S. Barnes, of the City of Albany, being duly sworn, says that he is the foreman in the office of the Albany Argus, the paper published by the print?? (cut off) to the State, and that the notice, of which the a(cut off) nexed is a printed copy, taken from said paper, has bee regularly published in said Albany Argus, on (cut off) in each week, for six weeks successively, commencing on the 23rd day of May, 1845. SS Barnes "The people of the state of New York, by the grace of God free and independent to all to whom these presents shall come or may concern, and especially to DANIEL DICKINSON or his children, residing somewhere in the western part of the United States, _____ and Fanny his wife, a child of JOSEPH DICKINSON deceased, JACOB BISHOP residing somewhere in the western part of the state of New York, and ATWILL SHELDON and CATHARINE , his wife, ______SHELDON and his wife FANNY, supposed to reside somewhere in the county of Sullivan, and JOSEPH PARDEE of Goshen, in Orange County, whose names and places of residence cannot be more fully ascertained, heirs and next of kin of JOHN DICKINSON deceased, greeting: Whereas JOHN DICKINSON, late of the town of Poughkeepsie in the county of Dutchess, deceased, as is alleged has lately died, leaving a last will and testament relating to real and personal estate; and ELIZABETH DICKINSON, executrix therein named, has applied to the surrogate of said Dutchess County for the proof of said will: you and each of you are hereby cited personally to be and appear at the surrogate's court, to be held before our surrogate of Dutchess county, at his office at Poughkeepsie in said county of Dutchess, on the third day of July next, at two o'clock in the afternoon of that day, then and there to attend the probate of the said will and testament of the said deceased. In testimony whereof, we have caused the seal of office of our said surrogate to be hereunto affixed. Witness, V.D.
