I think I've hit the proverbial brick wall. I found him in the Federal Census records 1860-1910 in the Town of Kingston. He died in 1911. Unfortunately, he can't be found in the NY STATE 1865 Census for the Town of Kingston or Kingston which asks a question about whether the person had served in the military. So I'll check surrounding towns. I've sent for records for an Owen Duffy from NARA, but since have discovered that this Owen Duffy was the wrong one.
