Doesn't sound like my Margaret is of the Mamakating Lybolts, though I am sure the families are connected. Lybolt Road in Walkill is very near the county line and Mamakating. My Margaret Lybolt shows as being born in Montgomery, though without source. All her children were baptized in Montgomery (Reformed Church records). She subsequently moved to Walkill where she died (Obit in Whig Press), and where my Winfield ancestors remained for 3 generations. As for your Sarah A. Winfield, I have extensive data on the Winfields of Ulster and Orange Cos., NY and Sussex Co. NJ, all descended from one Richard (Rutsert) Winfield who came to Kingston/Ulster in 1690. The only Sarah A. born around 1818 is as follows: 104. RICHARD5 WINFIELD (HENRY4, HENRY3, ABRAAM2 WINDVELD, RUTSERT1 WINTVELD) was born December 25, 1798, and died April 1840. He married ELIZABETH FORCE March 03, 1821 in Sussex, NJ. Children of RICHARD WINFIELD and ELIZABETH FORCE are: i. SARAH ANN6 WINFIELD, m. ROBERT FLEMING, 1839. This says (again without source) that she was born 1821 or later, and married a Robert Fleming when she was quite young. Could be her marriage to your Daniel Lybolt was a second marriage for her? Again, without source info there is no way to tell. This branch of Winfields was in Sussex Co NJ and there are some good church records from there. I have tons of info on Winfields, including places to search for source material, so if you want to pursue, let me know and I can try to point you in the right direction. Meanwhile, I would appreciate anything you find/have on Lybolts. Other spellings I have seen include Libott and Libolt. Others have suggested that Seybolt might have been incorrectly transcribed as Lybolt. I am sure that they are all closely related, as there just weren't that many of them in the area. feel free to take this off line via my email wffields_33@yahoo.com Wayne Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
