I think the original thread was one Amy was trying to help me with. The Syntje Elmendorf in question was born around May 28, 1762, somewhere in New York State, probably Ulster. She died October 24, 1805, maybe Shawangunk, maybe Kingston or Lloyd. She married William Benson around 1785. She married after his death to (I believe) John van Decker. I know at least he was van Decker sometime around 1800. Any help is greatly appreciated.
