I am looking for the parents of my 4GG mother, Sarah SWART. Sarah was born in 1783 and died 30 Aug 1840 (dates on her headstone). She is buried in the Hume Family Cemetery in Circleville, Orange, NY. Sarah was married to John MOORE on 12 Feb 1800 in the Graham Church in Pine Bush, Orange, NY. We have not been able to find the parents of either Sarah or John. I have found a couple of possibliities for Sarah, but I am wondering if anyone has any additional information that would help me. The two possibilities for Sarah are: Sarah SWART born 1 Feb 1784 in Shawangunk, Ulster, NY to Johannes SWART and Catherine VANDERMARK Sarah SWART christened 8 Sep 1782 in Shawangunk, Ulster, NY, daughter of Issak SWART and Maria KERNEY or CARNEY. Sarah SWART and John MOORE named their first son Isaac and first daughter Mary, which seems to suggest that she is the second Sarah mentioned above. However, they also have a son John and a daughter Katherine, like the parents of the 1st Sarah. I would really appreciate any help sorting this out. Thanks. --Bart
