The article entitled " Death for dessert in the Dug Road debacle " written by , Milford Ebert . It doesn't give the exact date , but says it happened in early 1933 . Uriahs funeral was held at H. B. Humistons Funeral Home in Kerhonkson , He was buried next to his first wife at Pine Bush Cemetery in Kerhonkson . Their is a photo of headstone showing " Uriah Quick 1864 - 1933 , Mary L . Quick his wife 1862 - 1931 " . He was separated from second wife , Zeppa Harrison . Three people were charged with his murder , Mrs. Mary A. Fish , Uriahs housekeeper , who confessed to her part in the murder , and was sentenced to 5 to 10 years in the Bedford Reformatory for Woman . Anton Baessler and Mike Conners pleaded guilty to second degree murder on June 19 1933 . Baessler hung himself in jail before sentencing , Conners got 20 years to life at Dannemora Pris! on .
