Of course, the Solomon, son of James, would have been older than 60 so I have doubts about it as well.In 1830 their were two Solomon Dunn's in New Paltz , both with more children than just Robert Dunn. As I said in what I sent, Solomon is confusing. This David may have been a son of a younger Solomon Dunn and who knows who his parents were. In 1810, a David Dunn appears living close to James and the same age as the later Solomon in the census. Is his name David Solomon Dunn and he didn't like the name David? In any case, the Census of 1800 for James shows an un-documented male child born between 1785-1790. Regretably, the census info before 1850 is not detailed. The data I have from New Hurley RDC shows both Robert and Joseph with a son Uriah born in 1784. Obviously, Uriah was named after Uriah Drake. Joseph married Mary Wikham. Why would Joseph have named a son Uriah and then his brother, who was next door do so as well? Robert married Sarah Drake. That bothers me and it is confusing and I merely point that out. I have records from Florence Prehn as well and don't know where she obtained the New Hurley records. I will write Florence and ask her.
