(b10/14/1860) was adopted by a Benedict. Wilbur's father was Peter Linet Ransom (b.7/8/1829) and his father Joseph B. Ransom.(b 1/19/1798). This looks close to where you are but it looks like you are a researching farther back and maybe (hopefully not) a different line. Is there any info you have to fill in or link our work...
