Hi Marty, My Terwilliger starts with Solomon Terwilliger and Rachel Ostrander who lived in Ulster County, NY. They had a son Harmanus who married Magdalena Veeder on 22 Dec 1748 in Schenectady. Harmanus had moved to Schenectady before 1748.All of my information is about this family. > I have been researching the Crissey/Chrisey family of Alexander and Elizabeth Crissey. Their second daughter Sarah E married Augustus Terwilliger on July 4, 1863. I understand he is the son of Winfield J Terwilliger and Ann Decler. I also understand he later married Elsie Bensimer on Aug 29, 1885 after Sarah died on Feb 27, 1879. Is Augustus related to any of your Terwilligers? Do you have any information on him or his wives.
