-Subject: Eckert Family My wife has an Eva Eckert b. ABT 1787 and died or was buried 27 Aug. 1867. She buried in Cyprus Hills Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY with descendants. She married William Cole who was B. ABT 1785 at Shawangunk, Ulster county. At this time we do not have any other information on the family. I am familar with the Stephanus Eckert/Maria Decker family & have all the family line & where some of them are buried in Shawungunk cemetary in Ulster county.Stephanus has a son named Johnathan Eckert married to a Sara Decker as well as a John Eckert.Am at work so will have to do a look up at home when I get there later this evening.This family is definetly from Ulster as Jacob Eckerts death certificate states he was born in Ulster?Co. in 1830.His older sister,Mathilda Eckert was born in 1819 in Ulster as well.The name Eckert was very common in Ulster around the time of the Revolutionary War.How are you realted to the Eckerts??
