I am descended by way of Permelia's and Peter's daughter Catherine SMEDES, b 1836. Permelia represents my 100% female line, and am interested knowing whether her ROWEs were Huguenot (France?), or Dutch, or English -- it could be any. Where did her ROWEs' come from? Has anybody organized "family ROWE" of Ulster County? ROWE genealogy of Ulster County seems to be a mess.
