Thanks to everyone who assisted me with this. Unfortunately, my search found that Rhoda had passed away last year in Georgia & I am waiting for someone to call me back with contact information for Jean in Kingston. In The Saugerties Telegraph for Feb 23 1855 Friday last in Saugerties, Thomas Nertney, an Irishman, drowned, elaving a wife and two children.
