Follows is the information I have of him and sons: According to the Historical Society of Middletown and the Wallkill Precinct, Inc. in Middletown, NY City directories, which I got from them June 8, 1987. >From 1903 to 1915 William C. HehnSr., a conductor for the O&W. 1919 William C. HehnSr., C. N. E. address: 210 North St. Middletown 1919 William C. HehnJr., North St. Middletown (actor) 1919 Frederick Hehn 210 North St. Middletown O&W Shops 1925 William C. HehnSr.,same address) C. N. E. R. R. 1925 Frederick Hen (wife Dorothy) Asst. Foreman O&W Shops 1928 William C. Hehn Sr. Sexton Baptist Church 1929 same 1930 No William C. Hehn Sr. 1930 William C. Hehn Jr. 1930 Frederick Hehn (Dorothy) Foreman O&W Shop 1931 Frederick Hehn removed to California *********************************** Another letter from the Historical Society, Jan. 18, 1996 William C. Hehn in his acting days, billed himself as Bill Haynes. After his acting days, he ran the Gold Nugget Tavern from 1936 to his death in 1947. His wife, Dorothy, continued to run the place. Looking up in old Middletown City Directories, we find: 1936 William C. Hehn, manager Gold Nugget, 50-52 James St. 1945 " " " (Dorothy A.) Gold Nugget, restaurant, 50-52 James St. 1948 Gold Nugget, Mrs. Dorothy H. Hehn The Gold Nugget was torn down under the Urban Renewal. *********************************** I have a photo copy of a card that reads: KS WAR COMMISSION, MiddletownN.Y. Lodge No. 1097. It is a courtesy card given to my Dad Gene Hehn, by Wm. C. Hehn, (his father). This is all the information I have on these Hehn's. My Dad did not live with his father. His father and Mother, Edith Mote Smith, were divorced after a year I think. I contacted the O&W in hopes of finding some information. No luck there. I have tried a lot of avenues, and have not been able to find anymore information. I sure would be grateful, to anyone who could help me. Give me a way to go. I'd like to know where Hehn Sr. came from? Where did Fred go? The Historical Society of Middletown said they had lots more, but did not have the technology to get it for me. Thank you Jean E. 1. BURKE family
    2. BARBARA WHITESIDE
    3. Still desperate to find any living descendants of JOHN & MARY BURKE nee CARROLL born and married in the Bottomstown area of CO. LIMERICK IRELAND. Emigrated to 56 VANNESS STREET, NEWBURGH, ORANGE COUNTY, NEW YORK about 1865/6. They had the following children. JOHN, THOMAS, MARY, SARAH, ELIZABETH (Lizzie), MICHAEL & JOSEPH. I have been searching for descendants of this family for five years and every lead I have followed has led to nothing. Surely one of the children got married and had children of their own? Any leads or information on this family would be most gratefully received. Regards Barbara.

    1. Uninformative obit!!
    2. Hi everyone..am a little down..found the obit. for my gggrandfather Wilbur Lockwood. I was hoping it would point me in the direction of his sons, my ggrandfathers death..well allt he obit says is that Mr. lockwood lived here for many years and had a host of friends who offer sympathy to his wife and family. It mentions that his brother Walter from Peekskill, along with Walters son Byron will be spending a few days with the family. Doesn't mention any children or grandchildren!! Frustrating from a genealogy standpoint! Michele R. Lockwood

    1. Stantons in Ulster County
    2. Raymond B. Walker
    3. Hi, I have been looking for the ancestors of my GGGrandfather, George Stanton, b. 1801 in Orange or Ulster County, who lived and died in Forestburgh, Sullivan County. He arrived there by 1840. He had a wife Sarah and a younger one by 1865 named Amelia. He died in 1888. There were several early Stanton families, including a large one in Deerpark, descending from Jacob Stanton and Grace Wheeler of Mamakating. Does anyone have any information on this family, especially their son Benjamin Wheeler Stanton and his descendants. I have more information on these Stantons and those of Newburgh if I can help anyone. Pat Walker
