    3. Nancy....I've seen the term "Sunshine Cemetery" used on some death records in Town of Shandaken, referring to the Wesleyan Methodist Church cemetery in Chichester which is built on what the locals call Sunshine Hill. 3. If you have access to a FHC, I have found two films that have records for the Reformed Dutch Church. #1016566 - Records of the Reformed Dutch Church of Shawangunk, NY, Wawarsing, NY, and New Hurley, NY. #0529193 - Reformed Dutch Church of Shawangunk - Marriages 1789-1816. There is probably more on each film - I only copied the pages I needed for my own records. Good luck, Sue > Does anybody have a copy of the church records at Shawangunk? Thanks, Pegeen

Or. co history says that he had sold part of his property to his brother John - there seems not to be an recorded deed that substantiates that statement.) Note: This is the Soloman for whom the Carpenter Assoc. discussed earlier on this list was formed and wrote the book re. his descendants. 1760 Carpenter, John of Goshen W. 1. Old Dutch Church, Kingston
    2. Hi, List, My husband and I believe we have seen books listing the burials in the Old Dutch Cemetery (we don't have any Ulster roots but live in Ulster County). Check the New York State Library website www.nysl.nysed.gov to see if they carry it, perhaps you can get it on interlibrary loan. You can also check the Kingston Area Library when you visit here. The book may also be in the Pittsfield Atheneum (spelling), the library in Pittsfield, Massachusetts which has a large New England (and some New York) genealogy section. Good luck and let me know how you make out. 2. Perry Streeter
    3. BRUNDAGE/COLLINS; Orange Co., NY; 1750-1850 Q. Who were the parent of Solomon and Mary (COLLINS) BRUNDAGE of New Windsor and Newburgh, Orange Co., NY? Solomon BRUNDAGE, possibly the son of a Benjamin BRUNDAGE, was b. in [Orange Co.?], NY (Census Records) on 29 August 1763; he died at [Fayetteville, Onondaga Co., NY] on 7 August 1831 at 11:15 pm. Solomon was m. at New Windsor, Orange Co., NY on 14 April 1787 to Mary COLLINS of Orange Co., by a Presbyterian Minister, John Close (New Windsor Sessions Book: Marriages). Mary was b. in [Orange Co.], NY (Census Records) on 16 May 1768; she died probably in Orange Co. on 12 October 1848. Nothing is know of Mary (COLLINS) BRUNDAGE's ancestry. Based solely on the fact that Solomon and Mary named their eldest son, Isaac BRUNDAGE, perhaps Mary was the daughter of a man named Isaac COLLINS. An Isaac COLLINS of Newburgh, Orange Co., NY was the instructor of the Warwick Cornet band (History of Orange Co., p. 519). Following his Revolutionary War service, Solomon remained in Orange Co. In the 1790 and 1810 Federal censuses, Solomon was residing at New Cornwall, Orange Co., NY. In 1820, he was a resident of Newburgh, Orange Co., NY. Children, probably all b. in Orange Co., NY: i. Isaac [Johnson], b. 16 Sep 1789. ii. Martha, b. 22 Aug 1791. iii. Benjamin S., b. 19 Sep 1793; m. Charity LANNING. iv. Eliza, b. 12 June 1796. v. John, b. Orange Co., NY 16 March 1799; m. Jemima KNIGHT. vi. Abby Ann, b. 14 Oct 1801. vii. Jane, b. 14 July 1805. viii. Alexander D.N., b. 28 May 1808; m. [Margaret MCDONALD]; resided in Newburgh, NY in 1840. I am seeking all genealogical and biographical details for the family documented above including their ancestors, children, and grandchildren and the spouses thereof, including the full names of those spouses' parents. All additions and corrections, however speculative, will be greatly appreciated. Perry Streeter (pstreeter@acccorp.com) Canandaigua, NY USA
