Surnames: TRAPP SCHNEIDER BUDEL BUTTELL STENGEL Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/5RB.2ACE/1421 Message Board Post: Seeking the family of Michael Schneider and Clementina Trapp. Their daughter Catherina Schneider, born 8.8.1833, possibly in Baden (or Bayern). Another daughter, Maria, Schneider, born 15.8.1833. Name of town unknown, believed to be Baden, but could be Bayern. Maria and Catherina came to America circa 1853, to New York, married there, and then moved on to Lincoln, Logan County, Illinois. Seek any information on this family. Catharina married Daniel Budel / Buttell from Queidersbach, Rhein-Pfalz, Bayern. Maria married Herman Stengel; both ended up in Lincoln. Does anyone know about the Trapp families that are clustered in certain parts of the Pfalz or Baden? I'm hoping to connect to one of those family, but no connections have been made yet in finding out the birthplace or parents of Clementina Trapp, who would have been born circa 1810. Both sisters lived with their families in Woodbourne/ Ellenville area 1850s/1860s. Parents supposedly came to New York too. Place of death unknown for Michael and Clementina. Thank you. John Schmal

I have Almina Brown who married Richard Luther. They lived in Kingston Ulster NY. Her sister is Lorinda Brown who married Sedgewick Cole and lived in West Stockbridge MA. There is Louisa Brown who married David Knapp and lived in Kingston Ulster co NY. I think the father of all 3 is Nathan Brown. You will find him in the 1850 census living with Lorinda and Sedgewick Cole in West Stockbridge MA. Is there a connection to Peter and your Nathan?

Carney who married Alexander Bedford in 1888 in Clove Reformed Dutch Reformed Church (I think, my information was cut off for some reason). They had five children. Alexander Bedford was the brother of Benson D. LeFevre's first wife, Jennie Bedford. My question: Are these two Marthas the same person? Ray LaFever Cohoes, NY

Can anyone help me make a connection to ancestors of Elisha and wife ELIZABETH (nee BROWN or SPEEDLING)? I will appreciate any information. Mary Alice
