I had not seen this before. On the Tompkins County Genweb there is a will for a Sarah Davenport who died in 1848 and one of her heirs is lised as being John Davenport of Dryden. However, since my John Davenport supposedly died in 1847, this probably isn't him. Some of the other heirs (I presume children) are Archibald Davenpart, Ann Davenport, Abigail Davenport, Marilla Davenport, and Jane VanOrder, all of Dryden.
