Just out of curiosity, where did your Towne family come from? My great great grandfather married Elizabeth Towne. She was from NJ/PA and she and her husband moved to the Finger Lakes, Seneca County, on the Tompkins Co border in the 1790's. Wondered if she could have had other family move there too. I am looking for information on Emeline Towne's brother, Alonzo Towne. Do you have any info as to where he and his wife, Deborah Churchill, died or the dates of their death. Alonzo & Deborah are my great-grandparents and Orren and Lydia Ford, my greatgreatgrandparents. Thank you, Maxine Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The maiden name of Rebeccah Nurse, of witch trials fame, was Towne. she was apparently a fine lady who suffered from the jealousy for her husband's prosperity. Fay Taylor, descendant of both Rebeccah and Judge Hathorne. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marsha E.
