Hattie was more than likely born in the Town of Lansing, in Tompkins County, New York, as most of the Bowers lived and worked there at one time and many still do. I have Jesse and Alan as Hattie's brothers. She could have had more siblings. I have several Edward Bowers whose birthdates do not come close to 1892. I have on Edward Bower whose birthdate I do not know, nor do I know the birthdate of either of his parents, although I would guess that that family was a lot earlier than Hattie's family.
