Abt 1792, is found in the Town of Ulysses, Tompkins Co., NY as early as the 1830 census (pg 378). He was also appears there in the census of 1840 (pg. 290) and 1850 (pg. 464). As of 1855 he was still appearing on the sppraisal rolls. While it is believed that he had as many as 10 children, the name of his wife and the names of his children are unknown to me. (By the 1850 census he was living alone.) I do not know when or where Herbert died, nor where he is buried. Any informtion regarding Herbert or any member of his family would be deeply appreciated.
