Lemuel JENNINGS, Adm. This Indenture made the eleventh day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty Between Hudson JENNINGS, Administrator of the Estate of Lemuel JENNINGS late of the town of Danby County of Tompkins and State of New York of the first part and Eleazer TAYLOR of the same place of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred and five dollars to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised released aliened and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell remise release alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever all that Lot or tract of Land situate in the Northeast quarter of Township Number seven in the twelve townships in the County of Tioga now Tompkins known as the centre part of Lot Number thirty two bounded as f! ollows viz: Beginning at a post in the Northeast corner of seventy acres off of the South end of said Lot Deeded by Lemuel JENNINGS before his decease to Samuel PARKER running North two degrees East Seventeen chains and thirty eight links to the centre of the highway leading from the Owego & Ithaca Turnpike Westerly to the road near John SWARTOUTs Thence North eighty eight West two chains and seventeen links Thence North two degrees East along the west line of four acres of land sold to Stephen BEERS thirteen chains and seven links to a stake Thence North eighty eight West twenty two chains and forty nine links to a stake Thence South two degrees west thirty chains and forty five links to a stake standing in the East line of Lot Number thirty nine Thence South eighty eight degrees East twenty four chains sixty six links to the place of beginning containing seventy acres of Land be the same more or less Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances ther! eunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and reve rsions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either at law or in equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances To have to and to hold the said above granted bargained and described premises unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever and the said party of the first part as administrator of the Estate aforesaid for himself and heirs of said estate doth covenant grant bargain promise and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part of ! the above mentioned and described premises and the said party of the first part will forever warrant and Defend. JENNINGS State of New York Tompkins County ss: Be it remembered that on the eleventh day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty personally appeared before Benjn. JENNINGS, one of our Judges of the Court of Common Pleas for said County Hudson JENNINGS a person to me well known and acknowledged that he signed and sealed the within as his free act and Deed for the uses and purposes within named and having examined the same and finding no erasures and interlineations except those noted on the bottom of the Deed before signing do allow the same to be recorded.
