I'm hoping to find an obituary of Daniel SLAWSON who died Sept. 23, 1854. He is listed in a transcription of the Trumansburg (Grove) Cemetery(s), Town of Ulysses, Tompkins Co., NY under the spelling SLAUSON. If so, do you have any advice where to make a request for a copy? Thanks for your local expertise!

Trumansburg Advertiser 1832-1840 Trumansburg News 1860-1864 Trumansburg Independent 1851 Looks like your date is during a span of no newspaper, however, there were other publications in Tomp Co such as Dryden Wkly News 1857-1870; Rumsey's Companion 1856-1957 I ckd my book by Mary Smith Jackson and found the following nspr entries for name Slauson; 7-11-1870 Tomp.Cty Sentinel Cpt. Henry H. Slauson age 30 died in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Buried Trumansburg. 137th Reg NY Vol. 1-8-1869 Ithaca Democrat; Mary Slauson, 7yr died in Ithaca. She was d/o Warren and Jane Ann. Nothing for Daniel.
