The museum's new permanent historical fire-fighting exhibit will be unveiled in the Ulysses Room. The UHS Museum in Trumansburg is now open for the 2007 season until the first week of December. Hours are Monday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m., and Friday and Saturday afternoons from 2 to 4 p.m. New exhibits include: Silver Dan pulling the mail cart used by Charles Crippen to deliver the mail to RFD customers in the Trumansburg area (donated by the King family); the "Work-a-Day Week," with "Monday - Wash Day" and "Tuesday - Ironing Day"; and fire-fighting in Trumansburg.
