I have gotten a lot of responses and it so far sounds like people with PC's and Macs can down load the images and save them in digital form. But it also sounds like the quality may be lacking. I can not fully use the site as I am hooked at home to the internet via a LINIX box with strick security actions in place by my computer person. I had fired up my Mac but was unable to download the files. I have the Mac mouse with no buttons (no right click) so maybe there is something that I am missing. bill This is from a geologist from SUNY at Geneseo I can copy and open the images in other software (ie. Photoshop), but the images have poor resolution (too pixilated), so that they would seem to have limited value for practical applications. =================================== I did right click and select "Save Picture As", but the resolution isn't nearly as good as the actual file. The way the site uses pop-up windows and not direct URLs makes it hard to use some of the image grabbing tools I have, so I don't know how to d/l them either, at least not at the higher resolution. =================================== I have an iMac OSX (Macintosh/Apple) and am able to download the images by pressing Control and then a left click on the mouse. I don't know what the instructions would be for another system. =================================== I went to the site and was able to download the pictures. I pulled up a picture and did a right click on the mouse. In the drop down window I selected "Save image as" and saved it to my desktop. =================================== The site won't work at all unless I turn on pop-up windows; and I won't on GP.Often, pop-up windows are used to isolate content from "normal" browser options. I suspect they mean "look but don't copy."
