I'm traveling to Tompkins Co. in a few weeks. I know I have ancestors that lived in Lansing and Groton from around 1805 to 1825. Would love some advice on "don't miss" research sources. I've checked the more obvious places - Deeds, etc. - that are available from Family History Centers. Would really love some suggestions for less-obvious research areas that may prove fruitful.
