Treman State Park, and others I am copying with this notice/reminder. This Sunday, April 1, the Friends of Robert H. Treman State Park will have its annual meeting, which will be followed by an exclusive presentation about 19th Century hotels in central New York by Michael Tomlan, Director of the Historic Preservation Program at Cornell. This meeting and program are free and pen to the public. This presentation may give us some insight into the appearance and structure of the Enfield Falls Hotel at upper Treman; though we have found the foundation of the this tourist hotel, no one has been able to locate a photograph, though we know at least one did exist. It will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Longview, a senior living community 1/4 mile south of Ithaca College along Route 96B. Please feel free to share this message.
