I have a picture of my grandfather Horace Warren DeVed) taken while he was at work at Westchester Lighting. His parents lived in New Rochelle. He married my grandmother (Jennie Collard Stocum) in 1909 and they moved to Bedford Hills in Westchester County. Gramp was a mechanical engineer and had some part in the construction of the Croton Dam and Hayden Planetarium, among other things. After he left Westchester Lighting I don't know what firm he worked for specifically, but he commuted by train into NYC. I don't recall any mention of reimbursement for medical expenses, but that is an interesting bit of information. Unfortunately my mother died in 2005 so I've lost a source of info to support what little I know. Thanks again.
