"Sacramento, Cal. - Israel LUCE, a pioneer California, who was for nearly twenty-five years engaged in the marble business in this city, dropped dead from heart disease. He was a native of Ithaca, N.Y., aged 73 years. Luce arrived in California in May, 1849." Peggy B.
