I don't know anyone researching this line directly. But once this is posted you might get lucky. An obituary for Ella Catherine (Newman) McManes appeared in the Syracuse (NY) Post-Standard, 12 February 1996. It stated her husband John S. died in 1983. Her survivors were listed as two sons, John of Syracuse and Allan of Endicott; five daughters, Mary Dey of Winter Haven, Fla., Naomi Frank and Sharon Mitchell, both of Ithaca, Yvonne Dermott of Syracuse and Cathy Steckbeck of Utica; a sister, Belle Beardsley of Ithaca; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Naomi passed away in June 1996. In case you're interested, Ella Catherine's parents were Arthur Leroy Newman and Ruby May Marks.
