She was my 3rd cousin, once removed, a gg-granddaughter of James and Elizabeth Marks, my ggg-grandparents. Of John S. MacManes, I have birthdate of 29 December 1904, NY, and death in May 1958; the SSDI gives his last residence as Lansing, Tompkins, NY. John S. and Ella Catherine (Newman) MacManes had 7 children.
