My gr grandmother was Viola Williams, married to George W. English. She was born in 1852 the daughter of John Edward and Malissa (Melissa) Reynolds Williams. In the 1860 cenus they lived in Athens, Bradford County, Pa. Melissa is burried in Snyder Hill Cemetery, Tompkins County, NY with her daughter's and husband's. In some places his name is listed as Edward and in others it is John. They had 6 children that I have located all in and around Tompkins County. I just can't find anything about his parents, siblings etc. Now I'm wondering if he might be of Indian Ancestry and have been wondering where he is buried.
