I have not been able to find William in the 1810 Census or the family in the 1830 Census. There is an 1842 Census for Thorold, Welland, Ontario, Canada, listing William Early, Jr. The information shows that William Early, Jr., had resided in Canada for 10 years (since 1832) and we know from research that William Early, Jr.'s siblings were residing in Canada. The family sheet, compiled from bible register pages and census reports and other records is thus: WILLIAM EARLY, b. 1787, died, age 56, 7 Feb 1843; HANNAH Early, b. 1787; died, age 45, 15 Sep 1832. 1) EDWARD EARLY, b. 12 Jan 1812, NY; d. 4 Dec 1883, Village of Camboro, Haldimand Co., Ontario; M. 15 April 1840, Camboro, ELIZABETH HOPKINS, b. 1877, Thorold Tsp. 2) HARRIET EARLY, b. 11 August 1814, NY; m. abt 1833, JOSEPH ROSEL, b. 1811, Canada. 3) WILLIAM EARLY (Jr.), b. 14 Sep 1816, NY; d. 31 Oct 1854, Harwich Tsp., Kent Co., Ontario; m. 27 Jul 1835, CATHERINE YOUNG (of Philip), b. 1816, Niagara Dist., Ontario; d. 1900, Appledore, Chatham, Kent, Ontario. 4) GILBERT EARLY, b. 4 Oct 1818, NY; d. 2 Jul 1889, Aldborough, Elgin Co., Ontario; m. 1845, SARAH ABIGAIL HOPKINS (of Samuel), b. 1824, Beaverdams, Welland, Ontario; d. 1909, Newbury, Middlesex Co., Ontario. 5) BUELL "BEWEL" EARLY, b. 22 Mar 1820 US; d. 10 Feb 1871, London Tsp, Middlesex Co., Ontario. 6) SUSAN EARLY, b. 8 Oct 1822.
