I’ve “rescued” an old Autograph Album which belonged to Maude SHIRLEY of Ithaca, New York and later appears to have been gifted by Maude to her son Charles E. HOWE “Dr. Fred HOWE an old beau of my Mother’s Maude SHIRLEY WOOD who gave her the six old silver forks for a wedding gift in March 1896.  He became a dentist and filled my teeth in 1926 in Ithaca when I lived there at the time your Father was studying for his PHD at Cornell” I am hoping to be able to return the album to a member of Maude’s family.  If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me.
