They moved to Pulteney, Steuben County, NY around 1830. GW died and was buried there in 1853. With the significant help and prior work of others, I have documented an extended McCormick family that lived in the Ithaca-Owego-Painted Post areas but have not connected GW to this family. There are several McCormicks in the 1840-1860 censuses for Tompkins that I have also not connected to this extended family nor to GW. Any help would be appreciated.
