I recall that Barbara had a relative (sister?) named Louise. Any help would be most appreciated.

There is a published survey of headstones found in the cemetery done a number of years ago. The bad news is that they survey was/is incomplete. At some point in time, naw many years ago someone in the area was hired to tidy up the place and used a back hoe to do it. In the process, a number of headstones were destroyed or turned and moved into the surrounding woods. I was most distressed to learn the whole story, but by this time those responsible are long gone their their reward as well. There is another grave site fairly close by and down the road from the church site about 1/2 mile. It contains at least two and perhaps three buriels, but they are unmarked other than piles of stone. There are some other unmarked graves of children lost in 1805 in my family. If you can't find the grave site doesn't mean it's not there somewhere. Sorry to be the informant of such sour news but it is better to know the history than to think your going crazy.
