Hi Dick, Unfortunately, it appears the records I would need to consult are not available via ILL nor are on microfilm. Do you know if Cornell has staff available to do research (perhaps staff and/or Grad. students)? Or, must one find someone from the outside? re: #2368 Ithaca Methodist Church. Records, 1821-1963. Thanking you in advance, Kathleen --- Dick Hillenbrand <nygenes@gmail.com> wrote: > Check out some early Tompkins County church records, and several other > Upstate NY counties, at Cornell University. Her survivors were listed as two sons, John of Syracuse and Allan of Endicott; five daughters, Mary Dey of Winter Haven, Fla., Naomi Frank and Sharon Mitchell, both of Ithaca, Yvonne Dermott of Syracuse and Cathy Steckbeck of Utica; a sister, Belle Beardsley of Ithaca; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Naomi passed away in June 1996. In case you're interested, Ella Catherine's parents were Arthur Leroy Newman and Ruby May Marks. If this is him, it at least gives you correct spelling. Moravia Republican Oct. 26, 1967 Lansing John Macmanes Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Macmanes Sr., of Algerine Rd, a member of Ithaca College Choir, sang in two separate concerts in Carnegie Hall in New York City in the last two weeks. Only other mention of name is a large ad seeking workers for a company. I typed in "john macmanes" using quotation marks. http://www.fultonhistory.com/Fulton.html Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
