Hello Bill, I know you have been researching the Keeney family. I hope you might be able to help me. I don't know how accurate my information is but it's all I've got. Here goes: I am related to the Jenks/Keeney family. This is what I have found about so far... Daniel Jenks married Abigail Kinney while he was living in the Birkshire, Tioga Co. area about 1814. They moved to Vestal around 1820. Daniel bought land from Samuel H.P. Hall and his wife Elenora L. Hall of Binghamton, book 50, pg 433, June 2, 1858 for $380 for 126 acres. Daniel's son, harrison bought his land from Samuel and wife, book 52, pg 391, July 27,1859 for $500 for 52 1/4 acres. Amaziah and his wife Lucinda Hall Jenks sold land in Vestal that they bought from Charles S Hall and his wife Mary Hall on Sept 7,1867, no #, pg 304. Charles Hall was Samuel Hall's son. The Hall family was a very successful family Amaziah's wife was a Hall, I just don't know which Hall family she was related to. Amaziah was the son of Daniel and Abigail. I have no proof other than the information I have found on the internet (LDS and other Jenks sites). A lot of information has been transcribed on family but not all of it is accurate. If you have anything in your Kenney research that can link Abigail to her son Amaziah, I would welcome the help. I have been told by a woman from the DAR that perhaps even a link between Amaziah and his sister Cordelia back to Abigail and or Daniel might work. I hope this makes a bit of sense to you, I know I rambled on. A while back I asked Patrick about Mark Kenney and the American Revolution. He was hoping to find the link, he suggested you as a resource. Do you have any information on him? That might help me if you do. Thank you for your time, let me know if I can do anything to help you. I look forward to hearing from you again. Gwen
