There was an Amos Livermore who _died_ in 1827, who may have owned land that later got sold to Dexter's father Rufus and later to his grandfather Phineas. These transactions occurred from 1818 to 1834, so it's probably not your Amos. There were many George Livermores in the index, so it will take some further searching to see if anything matches up there. Jason
