I have communicated with many Conklin researchers in the past year (you know who you are) and we collectively have not connected this Conklin line from Rockland County (part of Orange County prior to 1798). The Jacob Conklin (1st son of James) line has been published in the DAR Magazine December 1984 (pg 786) - Jacob Conklin Bible. It does not indicate who submitted the material. It may also,have been printed in the March 2000 issue of the DAR Magazine, page 174, but I do not have a copy. Jacob Conklin married Johanna (AKA Joanna) Armstrong (b. Oct 25, 1796) on Sep 10, 1814 at Florida, Orange Co., NY. Ancestors of Johanna Armstrong can be seen at the "Owen & Related Families" on the WorldConnect Project and Joanna Armstrong can be seen at "The Joseph McCreery Clan" on WorldConnect Project.
