Tioga Street and called it Dot's Restaurant. It was gutted by a fire in January, 1966 and remained an eyesore until 1988, when it was purchased by W. G. Lehman. After extensive renovations he opened it as the "Dinner Bell"." Merle's parents were Andrew H. Guiles and Alida Dewey.
