According to family records there is a Francis Banfield who died in 1861. He had at least two wives, Rachel Lockey Genung and Elisa Cox Van De Vort. The records indicate a third marriage to Mrs. Witmore Barego. I cannot find any record whatsoever of a Witmore Barego. If anyone can help me identify him, I would be very grateful.
