Might any kind person on this list be able to find out for me if there was an obit for my gg grandfather, Henry ARMSTRONG, who died in Owego, Tioga Co., NY, on 18 Apr 1878. If there is an obit for him, please pray that his parents' names are on it. I've been trying to pin down this guy for 20 years now, and although I have the family down to the present day, I canNOT get him back across that big pond. I think that his father's given name was Benjamin, but that's more hunch than anything. If anyone out there can find this info, I'll be eternally grateful, believe me! These Irishmen and Scottish men are just too doggone stubborn!! I may wind up having to wait until we meet up, and then there'll be a lot of finger-wagging going on, I guarantee that much!
