Would anyone have information on Russel Winship born 1804 in or near Tioga Co.? I am at a brick wall. Would there be any records that would show who his parent's were? Were there siblings? He married Anna Maria VanHouten and lived in Owego until 1858 when they moved to Delaware Ohio area. The first son John Park Winship died at nine years old supposedly killed by a horse. Would there be a newspaper article about John Park Winship? I cannot locate were he is buried. Would you have any suggestions for finding records? Perhaps he used another name besides Russel?
