    1. [NYTIOGA] DEMUNN/DEMUN, LA CREQUE/CREQUE, MARCEAU
    2. William Rosenbaum
    3. Hello feloow researchers, I apologize for those who will recieve this more than once. I need to go through the story my grandmother told me before she passed. The MARCEAU ( not sure if this is the proper spelling, I wrote it how I think it should sound) came from France on covered wagons, through Canada and settled in NYC. MARCEAU married a LA CREQUE, a LA CREQUE married a DEMUNN, as I said this is what she told me. This is what I have found. My Great Grand was FRANCIS(FANNY) DEMUNN b1857 NY d 1930 Seneca County NY m EDWARD THURSTON BRYANT b 1845 NY d 1918 Seneca County NY. After going over some information I was sent I found a EMELINE CREQUE b 1835 d 1918 m JOHN L. DEMUN b 1829 d 1917 also buried in Seneca County, NY in the same cemetery. Needless to say I have tried possible spellings trying to find them in census or records, I have been unable to find them. I am reaching out requesting any help. Any french out there, I would like to know about life as I just recently found out about my french roots thanks for alls patience may God bless, Deb
