It's so frustrating to be here in the midwest! Wish I could do some research in Tioga Co! I was interested to read in your Sept. 29 post that George and Charity Ditmars were in Tioga County. I knew they were in Broome Co., and they seemed to have gone to Ionia Co., Michigan about the same time that my James, Charlotte and little Henry did. I've wondered if there is a family connection there (George poss. James' uncle?). Thanks again for all of your help!
