She had two sons, George b 1845 and Harry b. 1849 who assumed the name Purple although there is no evidence of formal adoption. He then married Hester Wentz in 1865 and had seven more children- Frederick Charles, Rhoda, Isabelle, Marion, Frank, Maud and Robert.Harry and George were born in Owego, Tioga, NY George m. Julia Frances Hayes and Harry m. Belle Crocker , Binghamton. Harry died 1911 and was a Lackawanna conductor for many years at Binghamton.Jasper had been a foreman of the Bridge carpenters for the Erie& Lackawanna at Owego, Tioga,NY All his children were born in Owego.
