Hello list, I hope this is the correct list for this question. Does anyone know if Candor, NY and Catatonk, NY are the same town? Also, I have an ancestor who is listed in the Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots. The cemetery is Woodbridge in Candor, NY. Does anyone know if this cemetery has been transcribed? Or is it likely that the only information which might be available from the headstone would be the name? Researching: Hiram Williams of CT, b. 1765 (or 1756), d. 20 Jan 1852 in Catatonk, Tioga Co, NY, m. Abigail Ford of CT (b. 29 Oct. 1765) who is also buried in Catatonk, NY (22 May 1850). Catatonk(Cattatong) was a stream that ran thru Cander-later an area from an Indian trail from Owego led to Cattatong Valley(now Catatonk).
