He married Waty Tanner of Dutchess Co.,NY by whom he had eight children-- Susan;Ebenezer(deseaced),Samuel,of Cander;Cinderella wife of William Doolittle,deseased;Caroline,the present wife of William Doolittle(He married her sister Ciderella);John T.;Job(deseased) and rufuf,of Newark Valley. pg187- Dr. William Roperborn Feb.18,1853 married Elizabeth Holmes on Dec.29,1880 and had one child. pg 442- Others came soon after the settlement was begun--After year 1800 the arivals were more frequent-Dr. Holmes from Connecticut.
