There is a huge list for Williams in the History you mentioned- pg 175: Hiram williams came from Conn.1795,and made the first settlement on the farm now owned by his grandson,William I. Williams(insert-this was in Cander)This place was known as Ford's Location,Mr. Ford having received 350 acres for his services as surveyor.mr. Williams married Abigail Ford,who bore him six children,as follows.Betsy,Sally,Eunice,Alfred and Ira.Alfred married Esther lane,and reared six children,viz,: susan,Mary,Pluma,Tracy,William I. andEdgar. Of these William I,,who is the only one living,resides on the homestead.He married a daughter of Stephen Gaskill,and has two children,Frank,of Clay center,Kan.,and Carrie,wife of philander G, White,of Harboken,N.J.Please personaly e-mail me if desire more on Williams.
