They were originally from VanEtten, NY she was the sister of Amos B. Canfield of VanEtten, NY. After Harry died she married James H. Jennings as his second wife and lived on Main St. in Candor NY. James H. Jennings is my husband Larry Meddaugh's great grandfather. Larry's grandmother Lucile Jennings was granddaughter of James H. Jennings Sr. Any information about Harry Banfield of Van Etten is appreciated. Also looking for info on John Murray a Coal Merchant from Waverly, NY After James H. Jennings died, Eleanor married about 1943 to John Murray and lived at her brothers place known now as Canfield Gardens. They later moved to Lakeland Fl. she died in 1949.
